Acetal (Delrin)

  

Acetal products are strong, hard, tough highly crystalline thermoplastics. They are true engineering plastics with a unique balance of mechanical, thermal, chemical and electrical properties. They demonstrate good dimensional stability, fatigue, endurance, natural lubricity and machinability. All basic Acetal grades in use today and carried in stock, come with FDA approval for contact with food products. Acetals are produced from both copolymer (Celcon) and homopolymer (Delrin) resins to provide a high degree of elasticity and good chemical resistance to alkalis.
